I have lost some capabilities in WindowsXP Home:
SEarch
Restore
Help & Information.
When I click on any of these selections I only receive a
Blank Screen with no options. I cannot even open messages
from this forum.
Is there a way of repairing WindowsXP Home? If so, please
email me the ways as I cannot open any items on this forum.
Thank you in Advance.

Hi

You might like to try the following before a Repair of XP:

"Why doesn't Search work?"
"Why doesn't Help and Support work?"

What is the problem with System Restore - are you getting any error messages?

Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
Version: 6.0.561 / Virus Database: 353 - Release Date: 13/01/2004
.

Will: Thanks for the infor. I will try these suggestions
and post whether they worked for me.
For Restore-I only get a blank screen with nothing in it.
No selection options, nothing. Just a blank screen. It has
on the top line of the screen System Restore and the 3
boxes for minimize, maximize and close. Nothing else. Any
suggetions? Thanks again.

Hi

Try the following link for System Restore:

"System Restore Tool Displays a Blank Calendar in Windows XP"

Will: Thanks again. I did fix the Search. Used TweakUI and
set Classic Search on both for Explorer and Internet
Explorer.
As for the Help & Support I have checked all possibilities
to no avail. Still working on this.
Restore-checked all the RegEdits and found no errors or
changes. So, this is still a question on how to fix.
Again, I greatly appreciate your help.
Thank You!!!
