Renaming User

Can anyone tell me how to get a changed user name to show up correctly as the
"Current User" in Office?
I have renamed a user in XP from User A and they are now User B - that is
their new login, they have a new password etc. I did this so that we could
conserve the documents and emails etc instead of creating a new user.
Everything works fine EXCEPT when we log on to a database in Access the
application shows that the Current User is User A and not User B! I have
gone through the registry and renamed every instance of User A to User B and
still the original username persists!
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks for the post Rey - have sent them an email to find out if the script
accomplishes what I need it to do!
