Renaming Photos

I'm trying to rename photos in My Computer. They are
displayed as thumbnails. However, if I rename a file
such as Picture22.jpg of a house to Picture10.jpg and the
new name is the same as a previously deleted picture,
Picture10.jpg (of a person), I have the following
problem: the picture is renamed but the thumbnail now
shows the original Picture10.jpg (of a person) that had
been previously deleted. If I double click on the thumb
to view the renamed picture, It shows the correct picture
(house), but the thumnail is still of the deleted picture
(person). Is there a way to get the renamed thumbnails
to update?

From the toolbar, select View, Refresh.

In the folder where the photos are, delete the thumbs.db file. You may have
to adjust folder settings to show hidden and system files in order to see
this file. A new thumbs.db will be generated with the current photos being
shown.

Delete the thumbs.db hidden file in that folder.

or f5 should work

If you right click the file there is a command to Refresh Thumbnail
