Windows XP Home (OEM).
I created a folder to archive some files. I want to
RENAME the folder, but access is denied. I right clicked
to unselect the READ ONLY option in properies, access
denied. The folder is not in use, it is only used to
stored files. I tried from a command propt, access
denied. I noticed on my Windows XP Professional (OEM),
taking ownership of a folder is explained. On the Home
Edition machine it is different and I can not find the
take ownership process anywhere. Some of the options
(security tab) are not offered on the Home Edition
machine. Any ideas how to rename a folder using Windows
XP Home Edition (OEM)? Thank you.

Thank you for the help. I booted in SAFE MODE and there
was the Security Tab. I didn't need the security tab
since I had already setup the machine with me as the
Administrator (I forgot, CRS). But the boot in safe mode
helped a lot. I needed to do a safe boot to accomplish
the changes I wanted to make. Again, thank you very much
for the information.
