One of my XP machines will no longer log onto the network
as it states the computer account cannot be found, I have
checked the server the computer account is there, I have
reset this also. I can log on with cached account
information then am able to get onto the network with
newer details however the server doesn't recognise
computer.

I have tried to re-add the machine by removing machine
from domain and adding to workgroup to put back again but
this process keeps failing? Is there anyway to literally
force removal from the network so that the machine does
not show a domain choices at login so that I can re-add
to domain?

Check the event logs on the server and see if there's a reason given for the
inability of the computer to remove itself from the domain.
