Removing SMS settings

I had Outlook 2007 set up to send calendar events to my mobile phone using
the Microsoft SMS service. Now that they are shutting that down, I followed
their instruction to remove the account from Outlook.

However, now I'm getting the message in my inbox that the Calendar Summary
can't be sent to my phone. That's obvious since I removed the account from
Outlook.

But now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to stop my calendar from
continuing to try to send the summary to my mobile phone.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do the following options still work for you?
Tools-> Options-> button Notifications.../Mobile Options...

I can navigate through that path but once I click on the Notifications or
Mobile Options buttons, I get a popup that says "Outlook Mobile Service (Text
Messaging) is not configured. Do you want to configure it now?"

So I can't get into the settings to turn off my calendar trying to send out
the summary to my phone. I completely forgot to turn all that off before I
deleted the account. And now I can't add the account back in to get to the
settings. A Catch-22.

I guess I'll put up with the failed to send summary emails then as I really,
really don't want to delete and recreate my mail profile. It is so highly
customized that to redo it from scratch is the last thing I want to do.
Thanks anyway.
