Only send SMS when I am away from my computer- how?

I only want to send SMS when I am away from my computer or not logged into
Outlook. How can I do that.
Getting SMS for my calendar alert when I am in front of computer doesn't
make any sense. So, only want to get SMS when I am away or offline.

What type of email account? What is sending the SMS? If you are using an
outlook addin to do this, outlook needs to be running for it to work.
