I believe you can do it by going to control panel,
add/remove programs and on the left hand side click on
the icon that says add/remove windows components and
within here deselect Internet Explorer.
I'm looking for a reload of IE6 and tried to access the site provided below.
It just takes me returns an error message of "We're sorry, we were unable to
service your request. As an option, you may visit any of the pages below for
information about Microsoft services and products." and then a huge tree of
various options. Any ideas?
I'm attempting to remvoe IE6 also, so that I can reload a "clean" version.
On XP I only get the option to remove ACCESS to IE, it makes no claim (nor
does it) to actually removing the IE application. What else works?
