Removing or deleting picture formerly set as wallpaper

How can I remove the pictures in the background list under
Control Panel-Display ? When I try to Edit Pattern and
Remove, the option is not available. THANX

hi have you tryed to delete picture from win/wallpaper files? i find this to work for me.

If you select the picture in the list and click on Browse, it will
take you to the directory the file is in.
