removing or chaning a password

Hello,

I'm currently trying to change a database password. I'm
using office 11 beta, but can't find any general
instruction for changing a password. Any suggestions?

Open the mdb in exclusive mode. Go to Tools, Security, database password,
and change it.

When I open in Exlusinve mode it still askes me for the
password (the one that I had set up).

Yes, and do you enter it?

When I go into
Tools, Security, the "Unset Password" is greyed out.

Do you have the database open. It would be greyed out if there is no
database currently open.

Not enought time, I have to get this out to other users.
I will revert back to Office 2000 as it did work well
there. I still think Microsoft products are awesome !!!
Thanks for your assistance. All the very best for the
launch of the new "Office" later this year. From what
I've used and tried, it looks like a sure fire winner.
