Removing Normal from my template

In investigating a corruption of a numbered heading in a document, I was
appalled to find that I had based the numbered headings styles (5 levels) in
my template on Normal. This was the first Word template I had ever created.

I have deleted these styles and recreated them, this time severing all
association with Normal. Found a few other styles based on Normal and fixed
them. The only style left related to Normal is the Table Grid style. I don’t
see any way to change the association. Is it OK to leave it in the template?

Thanks,
Jean
