I got Object Bar and replaces the taskbar with a menu
bar...the one with 'file edit view" etc. for the current
active window. in Windows, each actual window in most
programs has that menu bar. how do i get rid of that
menu bar in the actual windows? that way it will only
appear where the taskbar/start menu usually is (like a
mac). right now, i have 2 menu bars, one at the top of
my screen and one at the top of any window. please
help!!!

I don't know if there is a way to do exactly what you want to do in all
applications. But, In IE (and you may already know this) if you unlock the
task bar, you can almost completely hide the menu items with the standard
buttons, address, etc. by sliding them over the menu area. In Word, you can
go:
Tools
Customize
uncheck the Menu Bar (I was afraid to try this, since I need menu items to
get it back again.)

Depending on your applications, you should be able to get rid of at least a
few of your menu bars.
