Removing crashed domain controller from AD...

I have a Windows 2000 domain controller that has crashed. Fortunately, it didn't hold any of the FSMO roles. I have decided that this is an opportune time to upgrade that server to Windows Server 2003. My Windows 2000 Active Directory structure still says that the domain controller exists. How can I remove that domain controller and any published printers from Active Directory? I do not plan on redeploying this server as a domain controller for the time being.

Thanks in advance,
Anthony
