Hello,

I'm using W2000 in the office and XP at home. I'd like to
know if there's any way to totally eliminate the 'default
user' or 'all users' from Docs n Settings. I am only 1
person (administrator) and have no need for other userids.
I've tried to delete directories and some are locked and
others reappear.

Another question is how can I remove the 'My Documents',
'My music' etc.? I organize data on my D or E drive and
have no need for these defaults.

Thanks, CJ

Hi CJ
I wouldn't recommend trying to remove the folders such as all users because
they contain configuration data that is not part of your personal profile,
such as product activation data for Office XP.
You can relocate your user special folders easily using the Tweak UI tool
(http://microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp)
In TweakUI expand My Computer > Special folders
