I inadvertently installed two copies of XP. One on the C:
drive and another on a second hard drive. I want to
eliminate the boot option screen and the second copy.

Hi, Royce,

Click Start, right click My Computer, and Properties,
Click advanced,
Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings,
Click Edit,
Click full screen to see all the lines,
Delete the line with the second copy of XP.
Click File, Save, and Exit

Then go to the Windows command prompt,
type CD\ and hit Enter to put you in the Root directory,
Change to your second hard drive and type
RD /s (directory name of second XP) and hit Enter.

Good Luck,
Jerry
