Removing a missing appoinment in calender

I keep getting reminded of an appoinment. How ever when I dismiss the
appoinment thru the reminder window box, following pop up window appear

" Connot turn off reminder. You may be reminded again. Could not complete
the operation. One or more parameter value are not valid."

When i look up fir the appoinment, it is not available in my calender.

Please advice how do I stop this reminder.

Try using the /cleanreminders switch one time. start->run->outlook.exe
/cleanreminders (note the space after the .exe and the /)

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
