My Outlook 2003 has an archive.pst file that is too large and it is corrupt.
It cannot be opened because of errors. Scanpst.exe cannot repair it. There
is nothing in it that I want to see or save. I want to delete it. I want to
create a new, empty archive.pst file. But when I delete it, Outlook cannot
open. How do I create a clean, empty archive.pst file? Thank you.

Remove it from your Mail Profile in Control Panel-Mail-Data Files. (With
Outlook closed). Then use Windows Explorer to delete it.
