archive.pst is not a personel file folder

Hi there,

After having a corrupt windows explorer file, i have managed to navigate and
rescue my outlook and archive pst files before re-installing my c drive from
a backup. (the pst files being more up to date than the backup).

My outlook data file is fine.

My archive file which is around 3.5gb cannot be opened with the error
message "archive.pst is not a personel file folder".

I have run scanpst.exe without success.

I am running outlook 2007.

This is usually a sign that the PST is damaged beyond repair. Some
commercial office recovery programs may be able to help, though, as they're
more thorough than SCANPST.

One other thought: make sure the PST is not read-only.
