Hi,
I have a Microsoft CD based Dictionary which I use often .... The
application uses what called a 'quickshelf' toolbar which '.....is a tool
that allows you to open Bookshelf from other applications'. This is
automatically started on boot-up.
I would like to de-activate this but do not know the procedure inder Windows
XP. On previous OS' the process was/is:
1 Click on the Start button, click on Settings, then choose Taskbar. The
Taskbar Properties dialogue box appears.
2 Click on the Start Menu Programs tab.
3 Click on the Remove button. The Remove Shortcuts/Filters dialogue box
appears.
4 In the scrolling field, double-click on the Startup group.
5 Choose QuickShelf, then click on the Remove button.
6 In the Taskbar Properties dialogue box, click on the OK button. The
QuickShelf toolbar will not now appear when you start your computer.
Would be grateful if someone could briefly tell me how to achieve this in a
Windows XP environment. Thanks in advance.
