Remove programme

I installed a programme that does not work. It is not listed in the Add and
Remove list so how can I delete it completely without it being in the
Startup Menu or Registry?

TIA

Have you looked in the program's folder?

Some programs have an uninstal program there that is called something
like:-

unins000.exe

Double click that if it is there.

What is the program?
Where did you get it?
Perhaps it does not work because the installation was incomplete or
incompatible and thus it is not on the Add/Remove list ?
Did it originally come with an "uninstall" function? If so, perhaps you
could go back to the source and install it again and then use the uninstall
to get rid of it competely?

Good luck

What directory/folder is it installed in? Is there any sort of
un***.exe file there?

Quite possible the program is fully self-contained, and all you need
to do is delete the folder (like save it to a CD/floppy - then if
removing it causes probs you can always copy it back).

What's the start up program name (filename.exe?). Make sure there's no
entry in the starup folder and search the registry for entries to
delete.

Sorry I am trying to send replies back to the same post, will try again.

This is just a test to see if it works this way.

Once again apologies.

Delete the folder you installed it to.
