Remove Password from login screen / Access Registry

Dear Experts:

1. How to remove password from the login screen?
I have only one account with Administrator privilige, and connected with
LAN/Network. While tried the default way to remove password in Windows XP, I
got an error that password could not be remove.

2. While insatalling some software, I receive an error message saying that
Registry Settings could not be access/edit. Some software install normally
some can't.

My guess is that you are NOT logged on using an admin account.

here is an option for you boot safe mode then select
admin and goto user accounts and remove your password...
if this problem is a little different reply with more info
