How do I go about removing Windows 2000 Professional from
my hard drive. I installed two versions and I don't need
both, so how do I removed the other?

The procedure would depend on how you installed the second W2K Pro.
Different partition? Different directory?

Please check the posts, this question has been answered many many times.
Happy new year.

1. Launch the unwanted version of Win2000.
2. Start a Command Prompt.
3. Type this command: set systemroot
4. Make a note of the folder name.
5. Launch the wanted version of Win2000.
6. Rename the folder you noted in Step 4.
7. Wait a week.
8. If all is well, delete the folder you renamed in Step 6.
9. Unhide c:\boot.ini, and make a backup of copy.
10. Edit c:\boot.ini. Follow the existing pattern to make
the wanted version of Win2000 the default item.
11. Set "timeout=0".
