Remove a user from welcome screen

Is there a way to keep just one user from appearing on
the welcome screen? Like the way the systems
administrator doesn't show up.

Go to control panel user accounts, there you can change or
delete user accouts. But if you delete the administrator
account it will be harder to make changes to various
things in the future. You might want to rename
administrtor account. Hope this helps.
