Remove a home network

I am having a conflict between my router firewall and the firewall in
Windows XP. When I try to disable it I get the error message "an error
occurred while internet connection sharing was being disabled".
Can anyone help me????

Try asking in the network web newsgroup, but you might try booting into safe
mode to disable it.
