remove a device

From Explorer I can see an entry called "removable drive
F". I dont know what it is or how it got there. I know
there are "add and remove" commands in Control Panel, but
that doesn't do what I want which is to get rid of
that "drive" or whatever it is. I don't even have an F
drive.

It could be a flash card device on a printer. I have an HP
PhotoSmart printer with a built in flash card reader. It
adds a Removable Drive to WinXP.
