I have never had this much trouble with any plug-in or update with any
product! Now I just want it gone. I cannot find uninstall instructions for
this software anywhere on the web, much less ms help & support.

I tried to just uninstall using the windows add/remove programs; this was a
complete failure. It not only didn't remove all the program files, it
generated a new error every time I tried to open Outlook 2003. Located the
proper registry key and deleted it also, still the same error. Uninstalled
and reinstalled Outlook 2003, same error (yes I definately cleaned the
machine thoroughly after each step). Wiped out all of Office 2003 and
reinstalled, same error: I don't remember the exact wording but it referred
to MAPI account settings and a msn__.dll both of which I attended to.

Finally I had to reinstall Outlook Connector just to gain access to Outlook.
So far this program has only suceeded in duplicating all of my email. There
is only one POP3 account on Outlook, not to mention the one Windows Live
account.

Please help.

I have found zero information that has been helpful to me. Is there anyone
who can help???? I have found some references to a reg key I am not familiar
with, but would like someone with some knowledge on this to verify.
Certainly MS can provide us with the proper removal instructions!!!!!!!

I AM THE ONLY PERSON TRYING TO REMOVE THIS??? CERTAINLY MS INVESTIGATED THIS
PRIOR TO RELEASING IT?? IS THERE NO ONE WHO CAN HELP?

THIS IS SILLY!

well since there is no fix for this here is what I had to do for all those
who are looking to rid themselves outlook connector:

uninstall outlook connector from the control panel
uninstall outlook from your install cd
remove all keys in the registry that have "msncon.dll" in them
remove all keys in the registry that have "outlook connector" in them
remove all .pst files
remove all temp files
use a registry cleaner *(i use RegCleaner 4.2 by Jouni Vuorio)
restart
reinstall office outlook

now you will be able to get into outlook and the plug-in becomes moot....but
these are not by any means all the files and keys related. Anyone want to
help me clean it up? That would be a nice consolation prize for Microsoft's
failure to have proper uninstall information.
