Unfortunatly based on my most recent experience you may
loose all your files under ME.

What you need to do is to format you HDD and do a clean
install of Windows 2000. You will then have to re-install
all your programs again.

No you don't. gawd. Format the d:\....this is where ME
exists, and where it will be wiped. Then modify the
boot.ini file and remove the line pretaining to windows
ME, save the file, and reboot.
