Removal of ActiveX Controls

How can I remove an ActiveX (from a number of workstations) using the
command-line? Users here don't have permissions to update their own systems
and I need to remove several ActiveX controls "in the background". I went
looking for Active XCavator but wasn't able to download it anywhere (I don't
even know if that will work).

Thanks in advance for any help,
UCG

"Sorry for the inconvenience, please contact your Administrator for these
changes to take effects".
If been set by a GPO, you shouldn't mess with them, you will be fired!.
I know for sure some admins monitor the Network and log from time to time to
check the GPO is in place or been horked!!!.
What kind of Operation you want to perform under Cover Guy?.
Data Act protection and CO policy can screw up if you been discovered?.
HTH.

Thanks. I think that I found the answer by using the RemoveControlByName API
call.
