Removable Drive Icons won't show up

I have Windows XP Professional SP2. My Computer won't show removable drive
icons for any of my removable storage devices, like my iPod, USB flash drive,
MP3 Player, etc. I know they're supposed to show up automatically because
they show up automatically on another XP computer. I can still access these
drives by typing their drive letter in the Address bar, but I'd rather just
be able to double click on an icon to access the drive, because depending on
how many devices I have plugged in, the drive letters for the removable
devices aren't always the same. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with
the number of drives on my computer already. I have 3 hard drive partitions,
a CD-RW drive, a DVD drive, and 4 card drives. These take up drives C-K.
Thanks for any helpful suggestions you might be able to give.
