Remote Task manger

Does anyone know of a way to connect to other computers
using Remote task manager. We would like to find a way to
stop and various processes without having to go to the
computer. I know there are 3rd party vendors out there
selling software, but I would think MS would have
something they had developed to accomplish this. I am
having no luck with the Knowledge Base. Help is greatly
appreciated.

Instrumentation (WMI). With this powerful scripting technology you can
remotely control and adminster other computers on your network.
