I am having trouble trying to publish to a local machine from a remote
server.

The main web contains a "Media Stats" folder which is not FP enabled and I
am unable to set the files to "Do Not Publish" consequently when I try to
publish the web it gets so far and stops at one of the files in the Stats
folder

Does anyone know a way round this?

Thanks
M

Contact your host and ask them to make it a FP subweb/subsite or move it outside of your web root.

I had the same problem once but I was able to mark it Do Not Publish on the host so it doesn't pub-down...was this a fluke? I think it was on a *nix box. I think I used Jimco's Selective Publish.

Sorted hope, thanks to both of you.

Deleted existing stats folder, created new sub web and hope it will
repopulate overnight....

Published remote to local without a hitch.
