remote logon

I have heard that there is a way to logon to a compute from another
computer. Windows 2000 Pro is my office computer and my home machine is
Windows XP home edition. Is there an easy way to access my office computer
from home. Would it be easier if the office computer was also XP? (The
office machine is connected to a Unix server, if that's important.)

And advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Edwin

You may be thinking of Remote Desktop. This feature is not available on
Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Home.

Don't get confused by this as you can connect to Windows XP Professional
from a Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Home, just not vice versa.

Thanks for the clarification. Now I just need to see if I can get the guys
in charge to change my OS from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Professional.
