Are one or both of you behind a firewall/NAT/router? Look at this KB article for an explanation of
how UPnP comes into play...

You might need to enable UPnP, open TCP Port 3389 on one or both firewall/NAT/routers or modify the
RCTICKET field of the invitation file.

Your server at work or whereever had locked you out.
Contact your admin to give you access. Or if you are
using XP there are gliches to it. This has happen to me
and after 90 days my remote admin did nto let me in. I
went to work and they gave me a step by step instruction
taht enabled me to logg on again. Unfortuantley I do not
have it anymore cause its on our itnranet site.
