Remote domain password change

M

Mark

I'm running on Win2K with a Novell client. I have users
who have accounts on a remote domain. They are required to
change their passwords before they are allowed to log into
the domain. Because of the Novell client, there is
no "From" field in Change Password. I've been looking at
the "Net user" command, but that seems to require admin
rights, and only seems to work on the local domain.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Mark,
You cannot change your password without first authenticating to the domain.
Mostly because the domain would need your credentials to verify you
indeed have the right to change your password or logon to the domain.
