Remote Desktop

I have 2 computers in a home network, both running Windows XP Pro. I can
control one computer from the other with Windows Remote Desktop, but not the
other way round. I tried using both computer names and IP addresses, but same
result. Any idea how to fix this?

There are 3 different types of remote connectivity in windows
1. remote desktop

when user tries to log on to other users machines using this method, he/she
using machine will be temporarily be locked out of their sessions.when in
other end when users quits the remote session will be end .

2.remote assistance

u are supposed to send the assistance request using mail or sharing the
created file, there u can control both the ways.for more information check
out help and support center on ur PC.

3.terminal servers.

u should have server to run this terminal services.here u have full control
over pcs depending upon the rights given to it

other method is u can use netmeeting method.

in run just type conf
rest things u can do it
