Hello
I have enabled Remote Desktop so that I can work on my
computer from a different location. I can successfully
log into my machine ONCE! If I log off and try to get
back in I am refused entry. Also, I have set the port in
which to allow entry through the XP SP2 Firewall but it
won't give me access unless the firewall is turned off
and even then it is a one time thing.
The invitation is set for 30 days.

Any ideas?
Laurie

Well the fact that you said the "invitation" means that you are not using
RDC but instead using remote assistance.
You don't need to send an invite for rdc, just enable it in the control
panel under system on the remote tab.

Actually Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop are BOTH
enabled. I had noticed that the Advanced Setting for RA
was set for 30 days. However, I am trying to connect
directly to the enabled port. Was successful for one
session only. As soon as I logged off I could not get
back in.
