Remote desktop won't connect

I have been using remote desktop to connect to my work pc
for a while now and all of a sudden it won't connect.
The webserver is up but when i type in the pc name it
just shows a little red x (just like a broken link).
arrghh it drives me caaarazzzy. has anyone heard of this?

DNS would be my bet. Something changed in your DNS.
