Currently, we connect to our VPN thru ISA2004 and launch Remote Desktop from
computers / laptops that are domain members. I would like to be able to
configure a few home computers, that are part of their own workgroup, to
connect to their desktops without being a domain member. I can connect from
a home computer to the VPN but it won't let me browse the network or
connect
to any desktops. Is this possible?

Thanks,
-Marty

Hi,

I do this all the time. I am running ISA 2004 Plus VPN at Work. I have a
home laptop and setup to connect to my VPN with my administrator. I then run
Remote Desktop and am able to logon using my administrator logon.

You can't browse the network using a VPN because NetBios handles the Browse
and that isn't available over a VPN.

You need to know the IP of the computers to map drives or run Remote Desktop.

Cheers,
Lara
