Remote Desktop via VPN, all other traffic non-VPN. Is this possible?

I would like to connect to my desktop at the office via Remote Desktop
Connection over VPN.
I would like all traffic other than RDC traffic not to use the VPN
connection.

Example:
- My home machine is connected to my office machine using RDC and VPN.
- If I browse the web outside of the RDC application, this traffic
would not use the office VPN connection.

Is this a possibility?

This is possible, as it is possible to direct traffic
around the VPN. It is also a major security risk to your
company, as it puts a PC on both the company intranet and
the public internet. This could be seriously frowned on
by your management.

You can't force this granularity, but you will probably get more of
what you want if you disable the "Use the default gateway on the
remote network" option for your VPN connection.. This will allow you
to use your local internet gateway when accessing non-network
resources...
