Remote Desktop TimeOuts

Hi, I'm using a VPN connection and then a Remote Desktop connection to
access a server at another office, however the Remote Desktop connection
disconnects after about 5 mins of idle time. What can i do to extend this?

There are group policies that may be causing this...

If it's not the group policies, then could it just be the connection
type/strength?????
