Anything in the EventLog on the server?
Does the server run TS in Remote Administration or Application Server
mode?
Which OS do you run on your client?

Since it worked before, what has been changed immediately before the
problem appeared for the first time?
Installed any softare, or run Windows Update?

Check if this applies:

898060 - Network connectivity between clients and servers may not
work after the installation of security update MS05-019 or Windows
Server 2003 Service Pack 1

What is described here seems to apply to windows 2003 server. the server in
question is running windows 2000 with service pack 4

No, it applies to Windows 2000 as well, as listed in the "Applies
to" section of the article,

The difference in the "Resolution" section is that for W2K you should
fetch the updated version of the security update MS05-019, while for
2003, you should fetch the hotfix.

Then it's back to basic troubleshooting.
I still have these questions from my 1st reply:
Anything in the EventLog on the server?
Does the server run TS in Remote Administration or Application
Server mode?
Which OS do you run on your client?

Thanks for your assistance. Here are the answers to your questions

1. The server is running TS in remote administration
2. The Clients i Use are running win XP and a server running 2003 server
3. I dont get any error on this in the even log at the server
4. This started after running the update rollup 1 for windows 2000 server
service pack 4. I am unable to uninstall this update

Could you please quote the previous content of the thread?
Makes it much easier to check back on earlier information.

OK, this problem is *not* on the list of known problems with
Rollup pack 1. And it could have beeen caused much earlier,
sometimes problems show up after a reboot only.

You have to follow all the steps under point 3 in this article:

186645 - Troubleshooting RDP Client Connection Problems
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=186645

If that doesn't help to identify the problem, I would completely
uninstall Terminal Services, reboot, and install it again. Since
you are running TS in Remote Admin mode, this should not cause you
any problems.

Great! Thanks for reporting back here, Frank!
Always good to know if a proposed solution really works or not.
