Remote desktop slow or stopped over certain internet connection

I connect to a VPN in our office location and then I use remote desktop to
connect to a terminal server. I recently moved. Now, when I do this, once I
sign onto RDP it is EXTREMELY slow painting screens and eventually freezes.
The intenet connection is fast, tests show 6m down and 1mb up. Yet this
happens. So, I disconnected and used my Sprint EVDO card, and all is well
(even though this is only 1.3mb down and 500kb up).

I'm guessing maybe there is some port conflict? Any other ideas? Can
anyone tell me what ports I should review?

Okay, new information already. This only happens when I go over my wireless
network. I turned off my wireless card and plugged into the router directly,
and it worked fine. Again, the wireless network is fast and works in all
other ways. And, I'm sitting right next to the wireless router. So, why RDP
be slow over wireless?

Okay, never mind. AT&T was here yesterday for a different problem, and after
some reboots of the router, etc., this problem seems to have magically gone
away.
