Goodmorning,
i have a pc that is used from more user in local but only one use a remote
connection, RDP, from this pc to a remote server.
This user couldn't save a user password but tell to me a save a right user
name.
This because a RDP take "<ip connection>\<user name>" but we use, and
function, only a <user name>.

Is possible to mantain only a user name without saving a paswword?

The pc is XP pro SP2 and the server is w2k3 all at the latest update.

Thanks

Run this command:

mstsc /v:aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

where aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the IP address of the RDP host.
Your user will now be prompted for his account name and
password.
