remote desktop port forwarding

M

Manuel Villar

Hello,
I use cygwin to port forward email to all my mail
clients. This port forward requires my local machine to
look at "localhost" for both SMTP and POP. The mail is
then sent and retrieved through the SSH connection
created by cygwin.

I wish to do the same with remote desktop connections. I
have set up the port forwarding configs in cygwin but
when i attempt to set "localhost" as the computer i am
connecting to i get the error "The client could not
connect, you are already connected to the console fo this
computer. A new console session cannot be established"

Is there a way to allow remote desktop to look at the
localhost so that i can tunnel through the ssh and make
my connection more secure?

Thanks,
Manuel
