Hi

i have a LAN in office working on a WORKGROUP
each computer is assigned an ip in the 192.168.0.XXX range
one computer is on the internet and has 2 lans cards one with a fixed
internet ip and the other 192.168.0.1 which is the gateway for the other
machines on the LAN

my problem is i need to remote directly to one of the machines on the LAN
without affecting the computer directly on the internet. At present i am
using WINDOWS REMOTE DESKTOP connection to remote to the computer on the
internet and then remote to the computer on the network. Hence one computer
is useless.

What i have is ......

OUTSIDE LOCATION -------> INTERNET COMPUTER ----> COMPUTER ON LAN

What i need is ......

OUTSIDE COMPUTER ----> COMPUTER ON LAN

PLease help!!!! if there is any third party software please help. All
machines are running Windows XP.

Thanks in advance

An easy solution would be to stop using one PC as
an internet gateway and install a router instead.
In this configuration each PC reaches the Internet
via this router and each PC can be reached from the
Internet by an appropriate forwarding rule in the
router.
