Remote Desktop incompatible with WinDVR3

i found that Remote Desktop incompatible with some TV programs

eg. WinDVR3 and DScaler. But the others have no problem, eg. AIW
Player

Anyone have this problem ? how to solve it?

Tuners that use Overlay mode will not work with Remote Desktop.. With
the Hauppauge cards, there used to be an option to not run in overlay
mode. However, I don't know if that option still exists in their
driver/software.
