remote desktop icon missing!!!

i tried to configure remote desktop but there is no remote option in "my
computer" properties...... any suggestion to get back the "remote" option...?

Which version of Windows XP are you using? Note that XP Home Edition does
not have the "Remote Desktop" feature. In the meantime, see this page:
