Remote Desktop disconnects

I've recently installed Vista Business at home and have been using remote
desktop from an XP SP2 system (at work) into my Vista pc. I can successfully
remote into the machine, however at random intervals the connection is lost.
I looked in the Vista machine's event viewer and there is an event for each
time it disconnects. The event is as follows:

The Terminal Server security layer detected an error in the protocol stream
and has disconnected the client.

Log Name: System
Source: TermDD
EventID: 56
Level: Error

I never had this when the host machine was XP SP2.

I've done a search for this error, but have found no solutions. Does anyone
have any ideas as to what may be causing it?

Hi Chris,

As it basically functions, I would suspect the error lies with the nic
driver. Are you using the one in Vista or one from the manufacturer?

I'm using an xp driver from the manufacturer (d-link wireless usb DWL-G122
rev. b). They haven't released a Vista compatible driver yet that I'm aware
of.
