Remote Desktop Disconnected

When I try to log onto my newly installed Win2k server
(sp4).
I get the "Remote Desktop Web Connection" screen, but
after entering the server name and pressing connect I get
the following error:
VBscript:Remote Desktop Disconnected
The specified remote computer could not be found.Verify
that you have typed the correct computer name or IP
address, and then try connecting again.

This has occured when using dialup lines as well as ADSL

Any help appreciated

is your new server sitting behind a firewall of some
type? if so, you have to open up port 3389 for TS
access. Otherwise it is an DNS resolution issue. Can
you ping the server IP address from your remote machine?
Can you ping the name?
