Remote Desktop Connection Problem

Sandeep Kulkarni

Hello All,
I am using Windows XP SP2. I am facing a weird problem lately. What
happens is when I try to connect to other computers in the network,
the window for Remote Desktop connection is not full screen. It is
nearly the size of 3/4th of the screen. When I try to maximize the
window using maximize button then also the window size barely
increases anymore. I am facing this problem only on one computer. All
the functionality of Remote Desktop Connection works fine.
On other computers Remote Desktop Connection work okay. So what may be
the reason for this behaviour?
Thank you,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

First, have you gone into the Options (button) of RD and the login
screen? On the Display tab, move the slider all the way to the right
for Full Screen.

If that doesn't change it, then the maximum resolution of the machine
you're connecting to is whatever size window is opening for you (it may
be 800x600 and your screen may be 1680x1050).
